Model Registry
This registry lists the names and contact information of figure models in the greater Washington Metropolitan
Area that belong to the Figure Models Guild. It is offered as part of an effort to aid artists in search of models in
the figurative arts, as well as to promote our members to those who hire models for legitimate and ethical
purposes.
Models
To be listed in the registry, you must first attend a models' meeting. Meetings take place on the first Sunday of
every month - check Open Sessions for times. There is no pressure to model that day; however, those who
wish to become a member of the guild and be listed in the Model Registry must model for at least 30 minutes
at a First Sunday session - there are no exceptions to this requirement. Models need not model nude -
however, the vast majority of modeling jobs are for nude models, so modeling nude is a requirement in order to
be listed in that category. There are jobs for portrait and clothed sessions, so if a model does not want to
model nude, then the notation: Clothed modeling only will be included in the Model Registry for that model.

You will need to identify the school/location where you work as a teacher, or provide a reference of an artist or
teacher known by me. I will advise if any other steps are necessary.
